Beautiful peaceful area and the house had everything you could need for a great holiday. Our dog loved it. There are plenty of walks in the area and an enclosed garden. Our host Gunta was very helpful and friendly and a great cook!!Posted on Google shantanu singhTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay in the Scottish Highlands near Inverness was absolutely wonderful — peaceful, refreshing, and unforgettable. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by nature, open green landscapes, and a calming quiet that truly allows you to reset and connect with the beauty of Scotland. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. It had everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. We especially loved waking up to the natural scenery and enjoying the fresh highland air — it was the most serene holiday we have had. A special mention to our lovely host, Gunta — she is kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Her hospitality made our stay even more pleasant. She ensured we were comfortable, gave us space to enjoy the peace, and was always warm and approachable. We truly appreciate her for creating such a positive experience for our family. If you’re looking for a calm retreat in nature, away from city noise, with stunning surroundings and a caring host, this is the perfect place. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return again. Thank you, Gunta, for your beautiful hospitality and for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.Posted on Google Diane DunnTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What can I say, what a beautiful place to stay. A comfortable and welcoming place. Gunta was so welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. Our room was so comfortable and warm. The food was lovely and big portions, definitely don’t go hungry. Try to pancakes, beautiful. We will definitely visit again. Posted on Google Melissa ButkowskiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful time and amazing food!!! Thank you so much for everything!!Posted on Google Ross ClarkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a gem! Mike’s Country Cottage is everything you want in a self contained house with 3 full bedrooms. Ideally located just a short drive from a county village for supplies, this has everything to base yourself out of for day trips from Stirling in the South, through to Durness and John O Groats in the north. The cottage is clean and comfortable and well appointed with reliable Wifi. Communication with the host Gunta was great and she made us feel most welcome. It’s a 10/10 from me!Posted on Google karin slotemaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Google Olga Lawrence-JonesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a lovely peaceful place to stay. We were made to feel extremely welcome and our accommodation was clean, comfortable and left nothing to want for which was exactly what we needed after a very long drive. Gunta could not have been more helpful and whipped up a delicious evening meal for us . My partner's dietary requirements were understood and catered for . Thank you we hope to come and stay with you againPosted on Google Ruth LeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a very good stay at Beachwood Lodge.
